Excelente Hostal. Relación calidad precio muy buena. Algo ruidoso en plenas fiestas de Peñíscola pero cerrando bien los postizos y ventanas se duerme maravillosamente.

Sólo pasamos una noche en la pensión, pero estuvimos muy a gusto. Pudimos dormir con todo cerrado y sin utilizar el ventilador, la ducha funcionaba perfectamente y la televisión también.

Estuvimos muy bien en Casa Juanita cuarto 302. No estuvimos bien en cuarto 201. A pesar de haber hecho la reservacion como siete meses en advance (en October) para 302, cuando llegamos Juanita nos dijo que de confusion otra persona estaba en 302. Ojala que 201 sea el peor habitatcion en el hostal. Si, Juanita nos redujo la cuenta por no tener 302 durante nuestras primeras tres noches. Fue la segunda vez que nos quedabamos en Casa Juanita y si podemos regresar a Peniscola tartaremos de reservar una tercera vez la habitacion 302 en el hostal Casa Juanita.

Asked to change rooms as the first one smelt really bad like tobacco and animals. Smoking is allowed inside the hotel though so unfortunately although the new room didn't smell at first, the people staying in the room opposite were smoking all the time so it wasn't long until our room smelt of cigarettes too. The room was small but had all we needed for the night, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and the shower was good. The bedroom walls were thin so you could hear everything coming from the other rooms. However, this didn't matter in the end as there was a big party tent erected next door to the hotel that played the loudest music I've ever heard until 6am...so we didn't sleep all night anyway. Complained to the staff the next day who said it was because it was carnival weekend but there have been reviews in the last few months that have reported the exact same thing about this hotel. So it's worth checking if this 'venue' will be open before you stay otherwise be prepared for a long sleepless night. Otherwise fine for a short stay.
