I usually read comments, but I somehow didn’t on this stay. Went with the trip advisor rating. Big mistake. This place is perfect for backpackers. Not for elderly travellers who have been in Europe for a month including a three week cruise.The stairs- four flights with no railings on the first level, were very steep and difficult. A staff member was still there when we arrived- at 4:30 ( he leaves at 5:30) and helped us with our bags. He wasn’t there when we left two days later. No view in our room, which was okay, with a great shower, and the only window was very high up and provided minimal light. The tv only had Spanish channels. The location was great, but the difficulty of going in and out meant we left and stayed out all day until after dinner. Definitely no “home” to relax in after a day of sightseeing. Next time I’ll read ahead more carefully. As I sai, this is a place for the young and the backpacking community with few bags just looking for a bed and a good shower., near the action. For them it is great

Excelente opcion cerca de los museos (Prado y Reina Sofia). La habitaciones estan decoradas con bastante encanto. Super recomendable.

Chambre originale, bien décorée, literie confortable. Très bien située pour visiter Madrid, ne convient pas aux personnes à mobilité réduite : il y a 3 étages. A noter, chambre 6 sur cour sans vue mais pas gênant car on ne reste pas dans la chambre. Un petit flottement à notre arrivée à 22h, il faut téléphoner pour avoir le code d'entrée et le mode de fonctionnement pour accéder à la chambre. Info erronée sur le mail indiquant les moyens d'accès en venant de l'aéroport : le bus express n'est pas jaune mais bleu et porte le numéro 203 et dessert tous les terminaux. Il arrive à la gare d'Atocha et il faut 15 à 20 mn à pied pour rejoindre Artistic B&B.

Estuve en Artistic B&B sola una noche y el alojamiento de paso en Madrid, todo fue verdaderamente fenonemal. No quedaré en ningun otro sitio la próxima vez que estE en Madrid y expero que sea por muchos más dias. ¡Gracias por todo!

This was my second time staying at Artistic and had another great stay. Barrio de las letras is so fun I knew I had to come back. The staff are so kind and attentive, great location, comfortable rooms, and great value. You cannot go wrong staying here.

Chambre minuscule. Décor vieillot. Très déçu. Ce n'est pas du tout un hôtel 3 étoiles. Bien placé, c'est tout. Petit détail : la pluie s'infiltre par la fenêtre.
